ScanSeis Consulting Group AS is a private limited company, established in 2003, with offices in Skien and Asker. The registered main office is in the city of Skien. ScanSeis has around 24 consultants engaged throughout the year, and many more in the peak season. We provide QA/QCs for marine seismic, site surveys, environmental surveys, rig move navigation QC, 4D Seismic planning, survey & project management and data processing QC as well as Fisheries Liaison Officers and Marine Mammal Observers when needed.
The owner of ScanSeis Consulting Group AS is Seismic Consultant AS (fully owned by André Tørring) controls all the shares. ScanSeis is registered in the Norwegian VAT register. ScanSeis Consulting Group AS is not involved in any litigations or legal proceedings. The last credit rating (dated August 2025) from Duun and Bradstreet is “AAA”. Scanseis’ D-U-N-S number is 67-110-4164.ScanSeis' economic status is healthy. It has been profitable almost every year, since its start in 2003.
ScanSeis has plenty of Arctic experience with several surveys QC’ed each year in Norway, Greenland, Canada, Alaska, and India. Our offshore consultants are experienced with OBN/OBC work, and some of them are experienced in PRM.
Organization
Our management employees are all graduate and well trained and specifically qualified in their field. All have several years and ample experience in the seismic industry, both onshore and offshore.

Electronics graduate with experience in deep water marine seismic since 1992. In addition to running the business Andre, fills offshore positions as Party Chief and Client Rep.

Background from chemical engineering. Coordinates and manages crew rotation and changes from Oslo office.

Khairil Supardy, SE-Asia Special Consultant
Khairil Supardy has a B.Sc. in Geophysics and Seismology from Uiversiti Sains Malaysia, and background as Acquisition Geophysicist in Petronas Caligari, and is our first point of contact in SE Asia.
