Are you interested in contributing to the exciting development of our consulting company? We are seeking personel for work onboard seismic survey vessels and on land as Client Representatives or the Online QC of seismic data.

For all applications on any positions in Scanseis, you have to be in very good health and NOT overweight. You have to be medically examined and fit to work offshore in accordance with the requirements of OLF (Norwegian Oil Industry Association) and OGUK (United Kingdom former UKOOA). This is in accordance with the so-called Hardanger Agreement (9th July2000).

Scanseis also have high focus on the BMI (Body Mass Index), you have to be between 17 and 30, please check the link for your own calculation Calculate Your BMI - Metric BMI Calculator (nih.gov) if you are more than 30, it means that you shouldn’t work Offshore.

For QC positions our requirements are a minimum 10 year experience on seismic vessels and at least 2 of those years as Party Chief / Client Representative.

For Promax operators we require a minimum 3 year experience in processing/quality control of seismic data on Promax or similar systems. In addition you must have first class data knowledge including UNIX.

We have requirements for seismic personnel only, like Gunners – Observers – Navigators – Processers – all as Operators/Shift Leaders and Department Chiefs. We do not hire maritime crew. All applicants must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
